Wall art for the living room, bedroom and office
Art House ·
Every room has a different role, so the right wall art differs too. A few interior design ideas, room by room.
Living room
The living room is the place for the home's main piece. A large format (80×120 cm) above the sofa or a group of two or three canvases sets the character of the whole room. Landscapes, Impressionism and abstract art work well; repeat a colour from cushions, rug or curtains to tie the space together.
Bedroom
In the bedroom choose calm images: minimalism, the sea, flowers or pastel tones. Above the bed, one landscape-format canvas or two symmetrical portrait ones work best. Our water-based inks are odourless and hypoallergenic, so they suit bedrooms and children's rooms too.
Office
For a workspace, choose clear compositions that do not distract: geometric, minimalist, Japanese art or landscapes with a wide horizon. Hang the piece in your field of view — on the wall facing the desk or beside it — not behind you.
Hallway and kitchen
A narrow hallway calls for portrait formats (30×40, 40×60 cm) or a row of small canvases at the same height. In the kitchen and dining room, botanical motifs, flowers and classic still lifes look great.
Family photos
A canvas made from your own photo makes the most sense where you spend time together — the living room, hallway or bedroom. A series of canvases of the same size, with photos edited in the same style (for example, all black-and-white), looks more cohesive than mixed formats.
